Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the OCHE CHAMPS website, platform, competitions, leagues, tournaments, community features and related services. Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account, registering for a competition or using OCHE CHAMPS. By creating an account and accepting these Terms, you agree to be bound by them.

1. About Us

OCHE CHAMPS is operated by Oche Champs Limited ("OCHE CHAMPS", "we", "us" or "our").

OCHE CHAMPS provides an online platform and community through which darts players can participate in organised leagues, tournaments, competitions and other darts-related activities.

Our services may include:

  • Online darts leagues
  • Paid and free competitions
  • Knockout tournaments
  • Rankings and leaderboards
  • Player profiles
  • Fixture management
  • Results processing
  • Statistics and performance tracking
  • Prizes and trophies
  • Community groups
  • Giveaways and promotional events
  • Venue-based competitions
  • Other darts-related services introduced from time to time

Our website is available at www.ochechamps.com.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

You must accept these Terms before creating or using an OCHE CHAMPS account where acceptance is requested.

By accepting these Terms, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood them;
  • You agree to comply with them;
  • The information you provide to OCHE CHAMPS is accurate;
  • You agree to comply with the applicable rules of any competition you enter.

Acceptance of these Terms may be recorded electronically, including the date and version accepted.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not register for or participate in OCHE CHAMPS competitions.

3. Player Accounts

Players may be required to create an OCHE CHAMPS account to participate.

You are responsible for ensuring that information associated with your account is accurate and kept up to date.

This may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Date of birth
  • DartsCounter ID or username
  • Player photograph
  • Playing average
  • Competition information
  • Match results
  • Other information reasonably required to operate our competitions

You must not knowingly provide false, misleading or fraudulent information.

Accounts are personal to the registered user and must not be transferred or used by another person without our permission.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. Eligibility and Age Requirements

Competition eligibility may vary depending on the league, tournament or event.

Paid Competitions — 18+ Only

You must be aged 18 or over to enter or participate in any paid OCHE CHAMPS league, tournament or other competition requiring an entry fee.

By registering for or paying to enter a paid competition, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

OCHE CHAMPS may request reasonable evidence of age where necessary.

If we reasonably believe that a participant in a paid competition is under the age of 18, we may suspend their participation while their age is verified.

A person under the age of 18 must not attempt to circumvent this restriction by:

  • Providing a false date of birth;
  • Using another person's account;
  • Asking another person to register or pay on their behalf;
  • Providing false or misleading information about their age.

Providing false age information may result in the account being suspended or terminated and the player being removed from the relevant competition.

Participation in free OCHE CHAMPS activities by persons under 18 may be permitted where specifically stated by OCHE CHAMPS and subject to any additional safeguards or requirements we introduce.

Other competition eligibility requirements may include:

  • Playing average;
  • Location;
  • Previous competition results;
  • Account status;
  • Registration deadlines;
  • Competition capacity;
  • Qualification requirements.

Where competitions are separated according to playing ability, OCHE CHAMPS may use available playing data to determine the most appropriate division or competition for a player.

5. Player Averages and Division Placement

OCHE CHAMPS aims to provide competitive matches between players of reasonably similar abilities.

Players may therefore be placed into divisions based on information including:

  • Submitted averages
  • OCHE CHAMPS historical performance
  • DartsCounter data
  • Previous league results
  • Other relevant performance information

We may adjust a player's classification or division where there is reasonable evidence that the information originally supplied does not accurately represent their playing ability.

Players must not intentionally provide inaccurate averages or manipulate results to obtain placement in a lower division.

Deliberate manipulation may result in disqualification, removal from a competition or account suspension.

6. Competition Registration

Entry into a competition is subject to:

  • Availability
  • Payment where applicable
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Registration deadlines
  • Acceptance of applicable rules

Submitting a registration does not necessarily guarantee placement into a particular league or division until confirmed by OCHE CHAMPS.

We may refuse or cancel a registration where reasonably necessary, including where a competition is full, eligibility requirements are not satisfied or there is evidence of misuse or fraudulent information.

7. Entry Fees

Some OCHE CHAMPS competitions require an entry fee.

The applicable price will be displayed or communicated before registration.

Players are responsible for ensuring payment is made using the required method and within any stated deadline.

Failure to complete payment may result in the player's registration being cancelled.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Competition entries involve administrative work, competition planning, division allocation, fixture generation and, where applicable, commitment of entry fees towards competition costs and prize funds.

For this reason, once a player has been accepted and allocated to a competition, entry fees are generally non-refundable where permitted by law.

In particular, a refund will not ordinarily be provided simply because:

  • A player changes their mind;
  • A player no longer wishes to participate;
  • A player becomes unavailable;
  • A player fails to arrange or complete fixtures;
  • A player is removed for breaching competition rules;
  • A player is suspended or banned for misconduct;
  • A player's personal circumstances change;
  • A player does not achieve the results they expected;
  • A player disagrees with a legitimate competition decision.

Where a player requests cancellation before competition allocation or commencement, OCHE CHAMPS will consider the request in accordance with applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the registration.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where OCHE CHAMPS cancels an entire paid competition and does not provide a reasonable replacement or alternative, affected players may be entitled to an appropriate refund.

Any refund legally due will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

9. League Format

League formats may vary.

The applicable format, fixture structure, scoring system, deadlines and match rules will be communicated through the OCHE CHAMPS platform and/or League Rules.

Players are responsible for understanding the format of the competition they enter.

10. Arranging Matches

Unless otherwise stated, players are responsible for communicating with opponents and arranging their own league fixtures.

Players may play fixtures in any order unless the competition rules state otherwise.

Players should make reasonable attempts to arrange matches and respond to opponents within a reasonable period.

All fixtures must be completed by the applicable competition deadline unless an extension has been expressly authorised by OCHE CHAMPS.

Failure to arrange or complete matches may result in forfeiture or another result being awarded in accordance with the competition rules.

11. Match Format

Unless otherwise stated for a particular competition, match formats will be specified in the applicable competition rules.

Players are responsible for checking the format before beginning a match.

Where required, players should use an appropriate random method, such as a coin toss, to determine who throws first.

12. DartsCounter and Third-Party Services

OCHE CHAMPS may integrate with or rely upon third-party platforms such as DartsCounter to facilitate online matches and retrieve match information.

DartsCounter and other third-party services are independently operated services.

OCHE CHAMPS does not control and is not responsible for the availability, performance, outages, errors, policies or technical operation of third-party platforms.

Players are responsible for maintaining any third-party account required to participate.

Temporary technical problems with a third-party service do not automatically entitle a player to compensation or a refund.

Where technical problems materially affect a match, players should contact OCHE CHAMPS administration.

13. Submitting Results

Unless otherwise specified, the winner of the match is responsible for submitting the result through OCHE CHAMPS.

Players must:

  • Select the correct fixture;
  • Select the correct match/result;
  • Check the information before submitting it;
  • Never knowingly submit a false result.

Submitting deliberately false or manipulated results is considered serious misconduct.

OCHE CHAMPS may correct results where there is sufficient evidence that a mistake has occurred.

14. Match Evidence and Screen Recording

Players are strongly encouraged to screen record online competition matches.

Recordings can provide evidence where there is a dispute regarding:

  • Match results
  • Technical problems
  • Player conduct
  • Scoring discrepancies
  • Connection problems
  • Other match-related issues

Failure to record a match does not automatically invalidate it.

However, where conflicting accounts cannot otherwise be resolved, the absence of supporting evidence may limit our ability to determine what occurred.

15. Result Disputes

If there is a problem with a match or submitted result, players should contact OCHE CHAMPS administration as soon as reasonably possible.

Players should provide any relevant evidence available.

OCHE CHAMPS may investigate and take reasonable action including:

  • Correcting a result
  • Requesting additional evidence
  • Requiring a match or leg to be replayed
  • Awarding a fixture
  • Declaring a fixture void
  • Applying a forfeit
  • Taking disciplinary action

Competition administration decisions will be made reasonably based on the information available.

Nothing in this section removes any legal rights a consumer may have outside the competition's sporting administration process.

16. Player Conduct

OCHE CHAMPS is intended to provide competitive but respectful darts.

Players must not engage in:

  • Threatening behaviour
  • Harassment
  • Bullying
  • Discriminatory abuse
  • Hate speech
  • Deliberate cheating
  • Result manipulation
  • Impersonation
  • Fraud
  • Repeatedly abusive communication
  • Deliberate disruption of competitions
  • Serious unsporting conduct

Competitive banter is acceptable where appropriate, but harassment or abuse is not.

17. WhatsApp and Community Groups

OCHE CHAMPS may operate WhatsApp groups or other community spaces for:

  • League communication
  • Match arranging
  • Tournaments
  • Friendly matches
  • Announcements
  • Giveaways
  • Community discussion

Participation in community groups is subject to reasonable standards of behaviour.

OCHE CHAMPS may remove participants from groups where necessary to protect other members or maintain the community.

18. Cheating and Match Manipulation

OCHE CHAMPS has zero tolerance for deliberate cheating.

Examples include:

  • Falsifying results
  • Manipulating averages
  • Allowing another person to play under your identity
  • Deliberately entering incorrect scores
  • Colluding to manipulate league standings
  • Providing fabricated match evidence
  • Attempting to exploit technical systems to gain an unfair advantage

Where there is reasonable evidence of serious cheating, OCHE CHAMPS may disqualify the player, amend affected results and/or suspend or terminate the player's account.

19. Forfeited and Unplayed Fixtures

Players are expected to make reasonable efforts to complete all fixtures.

Where a fixture remains unplayed, OCHE CHAMPS may consider evidence including:

  • Messages between players
  • Attempts to arrange the match
  • Availability offered
  • Responses or lack of responses
  • Relevant exceptional circumstances

We may award the fixture, declare a forfeit, void the fixture or take another reasonable action permitted by the competition rules.

20. Prizes

Certain competitions may offer:

  • Cash prizes
  • Trophies
  • Medals
  • Merchandise
  • Other awards

Prize structures will be communicated for the relevant competition.

Players must satisfy competition eligibility requirements and comply with competition rules to receive prizes.

OCHE CHAMPS may withhold a prize while investigating suspected cheating, fraudulent activity or a material breach of competition rules.

Where a player is subsequently disqualified for a proven serious breach, prizes may be forfeited where permitted by law and the applicable competition rules.

21. Prize Payments

Winners may be required to provide reasonable payment or identity information necessary to distribute prizes.

Players are responsible for providing accurate payment information.

OCHE CHAMPS is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information supplied by a player.

22. Tournaments

Tournament structures may include:

  • Knockout competitions
  • Group stages
  • Byes
  • Seeded draws
  • Random draws
  • Qualifying rounds
  • Other formats

The applicable format will be determined by OCHE CHAMPS and communicated to participants.

Where player numbers require byes or preliminary rounds, these may be generated as part of the tournament structure.

23. Fixture and Competition Changes

Occasionally, changes may be required because of circumstances such as:

  • Player withdrawals
  • Technical problems
  • Incorrect registrations
  • Competition capacity
  • Scheduling issues
  • Events outside our reasonable control

OCHE CHAMPS may make reasonable administrative changes where necessary for the proper operation and integrity of a competition.

We will not make arbitrary changes which unfairly disadvantage players.

24. Suspension and Termination

OCHE CHAMPS may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Serious or repeated rule breaches
  • Fraud
  • Cheating
  • Abuse or harassment
  • Threatening behaviour
  • Misuse of the platform
  • Deliberate manipulation of competition systems
  • Other serious misconduct

Where appropriate, we may issue a warning before suspension.

Serious misconduct may result in immediate suspension while the matter is investigated.

25. User Content

Players may upload or submit content including:

  • Profile photographs
  • Screenshots
  • Match evidence
  • Messages
  • Competition information

You must have the right to submit any content you provide.

You must not upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, infringing or deliberately misleading material.

You retain ownership of your original content.

By submitting content which is intended to appear publicly through OCHE CHAMPS, you grant Oche Champs Limited a non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and process that content to operate and promote the OCHE CHAMPS service and competitions, subject to applicable data-protection law.

26. Player Statistics

OCHE CHAMPS may calculate and display statistics including:

  • Playing average
  • Wins
  • Draws
  • Losses
  • Matches played
  • 180s
  • Highest checkout
  • League position
  • Tournament performance
  • Other competition statistics

Statistics may be generated from submitted results or third-party match information.

Although we aim to provide accurate statistics, occasional technical or data errors may occur.

Players should report suspected errors so they can be investigated.

27. Leaderboards and Public Competition Information

Certain competition information may be visible to other users or publicly displayed where appropriate to the operation of a competitive league.

This may include:

  • Player names
  • Profile images
  • League positions
  • Match results
  • Playing statistics
  • Rankings
  • Tournament results
  • Competition achievements

Our handling of personal information is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

28. Website Availability

We aim to keep OCHE CHAMPS available and functioning reliably.

However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • Maintenance
  • Updates
  • Hosting issues
  • Third-party outages
  • Technical failures
  • Cybersecurity incidents
  • Events outside our reasonable control

We will take reasonable steps to restore affected services.

29. Intellectual Property

The OCHE CHAMPS name, branding, website design, graphics, competition materials, original software, logos and other proprietary content are owned by or licensed to Oche Champs Limited.

They must not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without permission except where permitted by law.

30. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to applicable consumer law, Oche Champs Limited is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.

We do not guarantee that participation in OCHE CHAMPS will result in winnings, prizes, improved performance or any particular competition outcome.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

31. Physical Darts and Safety

Darts involve sharp objects and must be played responsibly.

Players participating from their own home, venue or another location are responsible for ensuring that their playing environment is reasonably safe and suitable.

Darts should never be thrown while another person is in the throwing area or near the dartboard.

Parents or guardians are responsible for appropriate supervision of minors where applicable to free activities in which under-18s are expressly permitted to participate.

32. Events Outside Our Control

OCHE CHAMPS will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Examples may include:

  • Internet outages
  • Third-party platform failures
  • Severe weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Major infrastructure failures
  • Cyber incidents
  • Other exceptional events

Where such an event materially affects a competition, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

33. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time where reasonably necessary, including because of:

  • Changes to our services
  • New competition formats
  • Changes in law or regulation
  • Security requirements
  • Changes to third-party services

Material changes will be communicated appropriately.

Where required, users may be asked to accept an updated version before continuing to use certain services.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued under an existing contract.

34. Privacy and Personal Data

Oche Champs Limited processes personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection law and our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy should explain what information we collect, why we use it, how long it is retained, who it may be shared with and the rights available to users.

Acceptance of these Terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing.

35. Marketing Communications

Marketing preferences are separate from acceptance of these Terms.

Where required, users will be given a separate opportunity to opt in to promotional email communications.

Choosing not to receive marketing communications will not prevent a user from creating an account or participating in competitions where they are otherwise eligible.

Users may change their marketing preferences or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Essential account, competition, security or service communications may still be sent where necessary to provide the service.

36. Competition Rules

These Terms should be read alongside the current OCHE CHAMPS League Rules and any rules specifically applicable to a particular competition.

League Rules are available at:

https://ochechamps.com/league-rules

Where a competition has additional rules, those rules will apply to that competition alongside these Terms.

If there is a conflict between a specific competition rule and these Terms regarding sporting format or administration, the specific competition rule will normally apply to that competition.

These Terms continue to govern the contractual relationship between the player and Oche Champs Limited.

37. Complaints

If you have a complaint about OCHE CHAMPS, please contact us using the contact information provided on the OCHE CHAMPS website.

We will aim to investigate complaints fairly and within a reasonable period.

Players should provide sufficient information for us to investigate the issue.

38. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

39. No Waiver

If Oche Champs Limited does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.

40. Transfer of Rights

Users may not transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our consent.

Oche Champs Limited may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a legitimate business transfer, restructuring or similar transaction, provided this does not reduce users' statutory rights.

41. Third-Party Rights

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms are between the user and Oche Champs Limited.

No other person has a right to enforce these Terms except where the law provides otherwise.

42. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
