OCHE CHAMPS processes information relating to your darts matches and performance.

This may include:

  • Match averages
  • 180s
  • Highest checkouts

  • League positions
  • Tournament results
  • Ranking information
  • Fixture history
  • Forfeited fixtures
  • Competition achievements
  • Other performance statistics

DartsCounter Data

OCHE CHAMPS may integrate with or retrieve information from DartsCounter where required to operate our competitions.

This may include information associated with:

  • Your DartsCounter ID
  • Your DartsCounter profile
  • Matches
  • Match opponents
  • Results
  • Scores
  • Averages
  • 180s
  • Checkouts
  • Match statistics
  • Match dates
  • Other available match information required to operate OCHE CHAMPS

When a player submits an OCHE CHAMPS result, our systems may retrieve recent DartsCounter match information and allow the player to select the relevant match.

Selected information may then be processed by OCHE CHAMPS to update the relevant fixture, league table and player statistics.

DartsCounter is a separate third-party service and its processing of your information is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

4. Our Scoring and Statistics System

OCHE CHAMPS uses match information to calculate and maintain competition statistics.

Depending on the competition, our systems may automatically calculate or update:

  • Wins
  • Draws
  • Losses
  • Matches played
  • League points
  • League position
  • Three-dart averages
  • 180 totals
  • Highest checkout
  • Legs won
  • Legs lost
  • Ranking information
  • Tournament progression
  • Competition records
  • Other performance measurements

These calculations are primarily used to administer competitions and provide statistics to players.

For example, when an eligible match result is submitted, information from that match may automatically update:

  1. The fixture result;
  2. The relevant league table;
  3. The player's win/draw/loss record;
  4. The player's playing statistics;
  5. 180 totals;
  6. Highest checkout information;
  7. Relevant rankings or leaderboards.

Where competition formats differ, different scoring rules may be applied.

5. Player Averages

OCHE CHAMPS may maintain an OCHE CHAMPS playing average for users.

This may be calculated or updated using:

  • Eligible OCHE CHAMPS match results
  • DartsCounter match information
  • Previous OCHE CHAMPS competition performance
  • Average evidence submitted during registration
  • Other legitimate competition information

Player averages may be used to:

  • Display player statistics
  • Create competitive divisions
  • Determine appropriate league placement
  • Compare performance
  • Maintain fair competition
  • Detect significant inconsistencies in reported playing ability

Existing players may retain an OCHE CHAMPS average based on their competition history rather than being required to provide new average evidence for every season.

6. League Placement and Competition Administration

OCHE CHAMPS may use player information and performance data when organising competitions.

This may include considering:

  • Playing average
  • Previous results
  • Previous division
  • Match performance
  • Competition history
  • Player availability
  • Registration status
  • Competition eligibility

This allows us to organise divisions intended to provide appropriate and competitive matches.

Administrative decisions may be supported by information generated by the platform, but OCHE CHAMPS administrators may review and adjust competition arrangements where appropriate.

7. Tournament Systems

When participating in tournaments, we may process information including:

  • Player identity
  • Tournament entry
  • Seeding where applicable
  • Draw position
  • Opponent
  • Match result
  • Tournament progression
  • Byes
  • Eliminations
  • Final placement
  • Tournament winner
  • Performance statistics

Tournament brackets and results may be publicly displayed.

Tournament systems may automatically progress a player to the next round following a recorded win or bye.

8. Fixtures and Results

OCHE CHAMPS processes fixture and result information to administer competitions.

This may include:

  • Scheduled opponent
  • Fixture status
  • Match completion status
  • Result
  • Match statistics
  • Submission information
  • Forfeit status
  • Administrative adjustments

Where a competition requires players to arrange their own fixtures, relevant player information may also be used to facilitate communication between participants.

9. Result Submissions

Where OCHE CHAMPS uses DartsCounter integration, the winner of a match may submit a result by selecting the relevant fixture and corresponding DartsCounter match.

We process this information to:

  • Verify the selected match
  • Record the result
  • Update competition standings
  • Update player statistics
  • Maintain competition records
  • Resolve discrepancies

If an incorrect result is submitted, an administrator may review and correct the information.

10. Match Screenshots and Evidence

Players may submit screenshots, screen recordings or other evidence relating to:

  • Matches
  • Playing averages
  • Results
  • Disputes
  • Technical problems
  • Payments
  • Competition administration

We may review this information where necessary to administer competitions, verify information, prevent cheating or resolve disputes.

Players should avoid submitting unnecessary personal information within screenshots or recordings.

11. Payment Information and Payment Evidence

Where OCHE CHAMPS requires payment for competition entry, users may be asked to provide payment evidence.

This may include:

  • Payment screenshots
  • Payment reference information
  • Name
  • Amount
  • Date
  • Other information shown on the submitted evidence

OCHE CHAMPS does not intentionally require users to provide full card details through payment screenshots.

Users should avoid uploading unnecessary financial information.

Payment evidence may be used to:

  • Verify entry fees
  • Confirm competition registration
  • Resolve payment disputes
  • Maintain accounting and transaction records

Where third-party payment providers are introduced or used, those providers may separately process payment information under their own privacy terms.

12. Terms and Conditions Records

We may record information showing that a user has accepted our Terms and Conditions.

This may include:

  • Whether Terms were accepted
  • Date and time of acceptance
  • Version of Terms accepted
  • Account associated with the acceptance

This allows us to demonstrate which Terms applied when a user registered or continued using OCHE CHAMPS.

13. Marketing Preferences

Email marketing is optional and is separate from acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

Where users are offered an email marketing option, we may record:

  • Whether marketing has been accepted
  • Email address
  • Date and time of opt-in
  • Date and time of opt-out
  • Method/source of consent
  • Marketing preference history

New users are not required to accept email marketing in order to create an OCHE CHAMPS account.

Where we rely on consent for marketing, users can withdraw that consent at any time.

Users may be able to manage their marketing preferences through their OCHE CHAMPS account settings.

Marketing emails should also provide an appropriate unsubscribe method.

14. Marketing Communications

Where permitted, OCHE CHAMPS may send marketing communications about:

  • Upcoming seasons
  • League registrations
  • Tournaments
  • Competitions
  • Giveaways
  • New OCHE CHAMPS features
  • Community events
  • Promotions
  • Relevant OCHE CHAMPS news

Marketing communications are separate from essential service communications.

We will only send electronic marketing where we have an appropriate lawful basis and where applicable electronic-marketing requirements are satisfied.

Users who withdraw marketing consent or unsubscribe will no longer receive marketing communications covered by that preference, although they may still receive essential service communications.

15. Service and Administrative Communications

Even where a user has opted out of marketing, we may still send communications that are necessary to operate their account or provide services they have requested.

These may include:

  • Account verification
  • Password resets
  • Security notifications
  • Competition registration confirmations
  • Important league information
  • Fixture-related information
  • Result issues
  • Payment confirmations
  • Prize notifications
  • Changes affecting an active competition
  • Important changes to our Terms or Privacy Policy
  • Support responses

These communications are not treated as optional promotional marketing where they are genuinely necessary to provide the service.

16. Email Centre

OCHE CHAMPS may operate an administrative Email Centre.

The Email Centre may allow authorised administrators to:

  • Send operational communications
  • Send competition announcements
  • Send permitted marketing campaigns
  • Filter eligible recipients
  • Identify marketing subscribers
  • Manage communications

Marketing campaigns should be restricted to users who are eligible to receive the relevant communication.

Marketing opt-outs and suppression information may be retained so that we can ensure users who have unsubscribed are not accidentally contacted again for that marketing purpose.

17. WhatsApp Communities and Groups

OCHE CHAMPS operates or may operate WhatsApp communities and groups for purposes including:

  • League communication
  • Fixture arranging
  • Community discussion
  • Friendly matches
  • Tournaments
  • Giveaways
  • Announcements
  • Player support

WhatsApp is operated independently from OCHE CHAMPS.

If you join an OCHE CHAMPS WhatsApp community or group, information such as your WhatsApp profile information and telephone number may be processed or visible according to WhatsApp's own features, settings and privacy rules.

Users should review their WhatsApp privacy settings and WhatsApp's own privacy information.

Participation in optional community groups is voluntary unless a particular competition clearly requires a communication channel for its operation.

18. Public Player Profiles

OCHE CHAMPS is a competitive darts platform and certain player information may therefore be publicly visible.

Depending on your account and competition participation, this may include:

  • Display name
  • Profile photograph
  • DartsCounter ID
  • Region
  • Playing average
  • Matches played
  • Wins
  • Draws
  • Losses
  • 180s
  • Highest checkout
  • League position
  • Rankings
  • Tournament performance
  • Competition achievements
  • Match history

We do not intend to publicly display information such as:

  • Home address
  • Private email address
  • Private telephone number
  • Date of birth
  • Payment evidence
  • Internal administrative notes
  • Login credentials

unless there is a specific reason, appropriate legal basis and clear notice.

19. League Tables and Leaderboards

League tables and leaderboards may be publicly accessible.

These may contain information such as:

  • Player name
  • Position
  • Matches played
  • Wins
  • Draws
  • Losses
  • League points
  • Average
  • Other relevant competition statistics

Public competition information is an important part of providing an organised competitive darts platform.

20. Shareable Player Cards and Graphics

OCHE CHAMPS may allow users to generate shareable graphics containing their competition information.

A player card may contain information including:

  • Profile photograph
  • Display name
  • DartsCounter ID
  • Matches played
  • Wins
  • Draws
  • Losses
  • Average
  • 180s
  • Highest checkout
  • OCHE CHAMPS branding

Users choose whether to save or share these graphics through supported services.

Once a user independently shares information on an external social network or messaging service, that third party may process the information according to its own terms and privacy practices.

21. Shareable League and Tournament Graphics

OCHE CHAMPS may generate shareable competition graphics.

These may include:

  • League name
  • League logo
  • League table
  • Player names
  • Positions
  • Match statistics
  • Most wins
  • Most 180s
  • Highest checkout
  • Best average
  • Tournament brackets
  • Match results
  • Tournament winners

These graphics use competition information associated with the relevant league or tournament.

22. Administration Systems

Authorised OCHE CHAMPS administrators may have access to additional information required to operate the platform.

This may include:

  • Account information
  • Contact information
  • League registrations
  • Payment evidence
  • Fixture information
  • Results
  • Statistics
  • Competition history
  • Marketing preferences
  • Support requests
  • Dispute information

Administrative access should only be used where reasonably necessary to operate, secure and manage OCHE CHAMPS.

23. Match Reminders

OCHE CHAMPS may use fixture information to identify players who have outstanding matches.

This may involve calculating:

  • Total fixtures
  • Fixtures completed
  • Fixtures remaining
  • Percentage of fixtures remaining
  • League deadline

Authorised administrators may use this information to contact players about outstanding competition obligations.

Where telephone numbers are used to create WhatsApp contact links for legitimate league administration, those numbers are used for the purpose of facilitating the relevant administrative communication and are not made publicly available through the league table.

24. Support and Communications

When you contact OCHE CHAMPS, we may process:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number

You may withdraw consent at any time.

Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully took place before consent was withdrawn.

Legal Obligation

We may process information where necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements.

This may include certain:

  • Financial records
  • Tax records
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Legal claims
  • Law enforcement requests

28. Direct Marketing and Your Right to Object

You have the right to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing.

Where you opt out or unsubscribe from email marketing, we will stop using your information for the marketing covered by that request.

We may retain limited suppression information, such as your email address and opt-out status, where necessary to ensure that we respect your request and do not accidentally add you back to a marketing campaign.

You can change your marketing preferences through your account where this feature is available or use the unsubscribe mechanism provided in marketing emails.

You may also contact:

Contact@OcheChamps.com

29. Data We Share With Other Players

Certain information is shared because it is necessary for the operation of a competitive darts league.

Depending on the competition, another player may be able to see:

  • Your display name
  • Profile photograph
  • DartsCounter ID
  • League
  • League position
  • Match statistics
  • Playing average
  • Match results
  • Competition history

Private account information is not intended to be shared with other players unless necessary for a specific competition function and appropriately disclosed.

30. Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers to operate OCHE CHAMPS.

Depending on the systems used, providers may assist with:

  • Website/app hosting
  • Database services
  • Authentication
  • Email delivery
  • File storage
  • Analytics
  • Security
  • Technical infrastructure
  • Payment services
  • Customer communications

These providers may process limited personal data on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.

Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate contractual and data protection safeguards are in place.

31. Third-Party Platforms

OCHE CHAMPS may interact with third-party platforms including services such as:

  • DartsCounter
  • WhatsApp
  • Email providers
  • Social media platforms
  • Payment providers

These organisations may act as separate controllers for information they process through their own services.

Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies.

32. International Data Transfers

Some service providers used to operate OCHE CHAMPS may process or store information outside the United Kingdom.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we will take appropriate steps where required by law to ensure that suitable safeguards are in place.

These may include:

  • UK adequacy regulations
  • Approved contractual safeguards
  • Other legally recognised transfer mechanisms

33. Data Retention

We do not retain personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to legal, accounting, dispute and competition-record requirements.

As a general approach:

Account and Profile Data

Usually retained while your account remains active and for an appropriate period following your last activity.

Match and Competition Records

May be retained after an account becomes inactive because historical results, league tables and competition records form part of the legitimate historical record of OCHE CHAMPS competitions.

Where possible, information may be anonymised or reduced where continued identification is no longer necessary.

Payment and Financial Records

May be retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and legal requirements.

Payment Evidence

Payment screenshots should only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for payment verification, accounting, disputes and legal requirements.

Support and Dispute Records

May be retained for an appropriate period after resolution where necessary to maintain records or deal with subsequent issues.

Marketing Consent Records

Marketing consent and opt-out information may be retained where necessary to demonstrate consent or ensure that an unsubscribe request continues to be respected.

Where no longer necessary, personal information will be deleted, anonymised or otherwise securely disposed of.

34. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your OCHE CHAMPS account by contacting us.

Where a valid deletion request is received, we will delete or anonymise personal information where required by law.

However, the right to deletion is not absolute.

We may retain certain information where necessary for purposes including:

  • Legal obligations
  • Financial records
  • Establishing or defending legal claims
  • Fraud prevention
  • Maintaining suppression lists
  • Maintaining the integrity of historical competition results

For example, deleting an account does not necessarily require us to erase an entire historical league table where doing so would materially affect the legitimate competition record. Where appropriate, identifying information may instead be anonymised.

35. Your UK Data Protection Rights

Depending on the circumstances and legal basis involved, you may have the right to:

Access

Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.

Rectification

Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Erasure

Ask us to delete your personal information in certain circumstances.

Restriction

Ask us to restrict how we process your information in certain circumstances.

Objection

Object to certain processing based on legitimate interests.

You have an absolute right to object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Data Portability

Request certain information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format where the legal requirements for portability apply.

Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact:

Contact@OcheChamps.com

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

We will respond within the period required by applicable data protection law.

36. Automated Processing

OCHE CHAMPS uses automated systems to perform routine competition calculations and administration.

Examples include:

  • Calculating league tables
  • Calculating player statistics
  • Updating averages
  • Counting 180s
  • Recording highest checkouts
  • Generating tournament brackets
  • Progressing tournament winners
  • Calculating outstanding fixture percentages
  • Generating rankings or standings

These systems primarily perform mathematical and administrative functions using match and competition information.

Where an automated calculation appears incorrect, users may contact OCHE CHAMPS and request that the matter is reviewed.

If OCHE CHAMPS introduces solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on users, we will provide any additional information and safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

37. Cookies and Similar Technologies

OCHE CHAMPS may use cookies and similar technologies required to operate the website and application.

These may include technologies used for:

  • Authentication
  • Keeping users logged in
  • Security
  • Session management
  • User preferences
  • Essential platform functionality

If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising, tracking or marketing cookies, we will provide appropriate information and, where required, obtain consent before using them.

Our cookie practices may also be explained through a separate Cookie Policy or cookie notice.

38. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against:

  • Unauthorised access
  • Accidental loss
  • Disclosure
  • Alteration
  • Destruction
  • Misuse

Measures may include:

  • Authentication controls
  • Access restrictions
  • Database security
  • Role-based administrative permissions
  • Secure hosting infrastructure
  • Appropriate technical safeguards

Access to administrative information should be limited to authorised persons who require it for legitimate OCHE CHAMPS purposes.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for protecting their own login credentials and should contact us if they believe their account has been compromised.

39. Children and Under-18 Users

Users must be 18 years of age or older to participate in paid OCHE CHAMPS leagues, tournaments or other paid competitions.

We may collect date-of-birth information to help determine eligibility.

Persons under 18 must not provide false information in order to enter a paid competition.

OCHE CHAMPS may offer free activities to younger players in the future where specifically permitted and where appropriate safeguards are implemented.

40. Data Breaches

If a personal data breach occurs, we will assess the nature and potential impact of the incident.

Where required by law, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office and/or affected individuals within the applicable legal timeframes.

41. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Changes may be required because of:

  • New OCHE CHAMPS features
  • Changes to our systems
  • New competitions
  • Changes to service providers
  • Changes to data protection law
  • Changes to how information is processed

The latest version will be published on the OCHE CHAMPS website.

Where changes are significant, we may provide additional notice through the website, application or email as appropriate.

42. Complaints

If you are concerned about how Oche Champs Limited processes your personal information, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to investigate.
