OCHE CHAMPS™
Universal Rules & Guidelines
Last updated: April 2026
Platform & Match Format
All fixtures, results, and league activity are managed exclusively through the OCHE CHAMPS™ website.
All matches must be played on DartsCounter.
Players must use a live camera at all times, showing a clear, well-lit, uninterrupted view of the full dartboard. The entire board (including doubles and bull) must be visible within the camera frame.
All matches must begin using the coin toss feature within DartsCounter to decide who throws first.
League formats consist of each player facing every opponent once or twice, depending on the league structure. All matches are played as best of 8 legs (501 format).
League scoring system:
- ◆Win = 3 points
- ◆Draw = 1 point
- ◆Loss = 0 points
After each fixture, results must be submitted via the OCHE CHAMPS™ website. Match verification must be provided by either:
- ◆Uploading a screenshot of the final match screen clearly showing the score and match statistics; and/or
- ◆Using a supported darts counter integration, where players log in/connect their darts counter account so the match result and statistics can be verified.
Players do not need to provide both methods where one provides sufficient verification of the match result.
League tables, fixtures, and player statistics are updated automatically based on submitted and approved results.
If a player withdraws from the league or is removed by the admins, all matches they have already completed will remain valid and the recorded results will not be changed. Any remaining unplayed fixtures involving that player will be awarded as a 5–0 win to their scheduled opponent.
- ◆Previously played matches and their statistics remain unchanged.
- ◆Only fixtures that have not yet been played are converted to 5–0 wins.
- ◆The removed/withdrawn player receives the 0–5 loss for each remaining fixture.
- ◆League tables, points and relevant statistics are updated accordingly.
Match Scheduling & Attendance
It is each player's responsibility to arrange and complete all fixtures before the league deadline.
If neither player makes a genuine attempt to arrange or play a fixture, the result will be recorded as NO CONTEST.
If one player can demonstrate a clear attempt to play (e.g. messages sent, time proposed) and the opponent fails to respond or attend, the attempting player will be awarded a WIN at the end of the league.
Once a match time is agreed, punctuality is mandatory.
- ◆Failure to attend without notice or valid reason will result in a forfeit loss.
- ◆Rescheduling must be communicated in advance and agreed by both players.
Promotions & Relegations
At the end of each league:
- ◆Top 1 player is promoted
- ◆Bottom 1 player is relegated
Where no higher or lower division exists, players will remain in their current division.
Players who significantly outperform or underperform the average standard of their current league may be moved by the admins to a more suitable division.
Results, Recording & Disputes
All fixtures, results, standings, and player stats are managed and displayed via the OCHE CHAMPS™ website.
Players are strongly encouraged to record all matches to help prevent disputes.
In the event of a dispute, players may be required to submit video evidence or screenshots via the OCHE CHAMPS™ dispute system.
All disputes must be raised through the website and will be reviewed by OCHE CHAMPS™ administrators.
OCHE CHAMPS™ administrators' decisions are final in all disputes, results, and disciplinary matters.
Conduct, Fair Play & Withdrawals
There is zero tolerance for abusive, threatening, or unsporting behaviour toward players or league organisers.
- ◆Any breach will result in immediate removal and permanent ban.
Any form of cheating, match tampering, or score manipulation will result in:
- ◆Immediate removal
- ◆Permanent ban
- ◆Automatic loss for the fixture concerned
If a player withdraws from a league:
- ◆All remaining fixtures will be awarded as wins to their opponents
- ◆All previously completed fixtures will stand
Players must ensure scores, doubles, and checkouts are clearly visible and confirmed on camera throughout the match.
Camera & Technical Issues
If a camera issue occurs:
- ◆Gameplay must be paused immediately
- ◆The issue must be communicated via DartsCounter in-game chat
- ◆Play must not continue without a clear board view
If the issue cannot be resolved:
- ◆The match may be exited and resumed from the previous score once the issue is fixed
Intentional disconnections, quitting, or repeated unresolved camera failures may result in match forfeiture at admin discretion.
General Terms
All OCHE CHAMPS™ rules must be followed to maintain fairness, integrity, and a high standard of competition.
OCHE CHAMPS™ reserves the right to:
- ◆Amend rules
- ◆Remove players
